VEESPRITE: R. impeditum X R. racemosum, raised and introduced by R.R. Forster, Horticultural Research Institute of Ontario, Vineland Station, Ontario, Canada LOR 2E0. Plant 18" wide by 10" high, compact. Leaves oblong, elliptical, 3/4" long by 1/2" wide. Flowers persian rose HCC 628/2, funnel shaped, 3/4" across, in terminal clusters of 3 to 5. Blooms in mid May.
