long, 15 per truss, 5-lobed, wavy margins. White flowers with strong purplish red (64B) flares in throat of dorsal lobe, and light spotting of same color extending itself half way up the lobe. Calyx 1/16", medium green. Ball truss, 6¬" across x 5 7/8" high. Leaves 5«" x 2", elliptic, acute, cuneate, smooth; under surface has slight felt-like indumentum. Plant tall, upright, spreading, open growth habit, 6«' high x 3¬'
wide in 25 years from seed. Blooms late May. Plant and bud hardy to at least - 16F.
